Memorial service celebrating the life of Albert C. "Goose" Tillotson will be held 5:00 PM, Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Faith Christian Church, 102 Cartlidge Rd. Rayville, LA with Sis. Pam Davidson, Bro. Terry Parker and Bro. Mark Parker officiating.

Albert C. "Goose" a longtime resident of Richland Parish, passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on May 4, 1953, Albert spent his life building and beautifying the world around him through his career as a skilled sheetrock finisher and painter.

Known to everyone as "Goose," he was a man who found his greatest joy in the simple, enduring pleasures of the outdoors and the company of his inner circle. Whether he was hunting with his close friends Jerry Nobles or Bill Phillips, fishing at Keith and Tiny’s pond, or sitting down to a Sunday dinner with his dear friend T.J. Parker and his family, Goose valued the time spent with those he loved. During his illness, he especially cherished the visits and quiet moments shared with his niece, Randa King. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lilly Grace and River King for all the little thoughts and prayers they offered for Goose, as well as to Judy Smith and Gail Masters for their kindness.

Albert shared the last 25 years of his life with his sister Wanda and brother-in-law Jerry Nobles, including his final days before he entered the gates of Heaven. Wanda wishes to express her deepest gratitude to these friends and family for the compassion they showed her brother.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Earline Tillotson; spouse, Janice Tillotson; brothers, Robert and Jerry Moak; and his nephew, Timothy Tillotson.

His memory will be carried on by his sister, Wanda, brother-in-law, Jerry, and children from previous marriages, Wendy Tillotson, Carlina Davidson, and Albert Foy, along with their mother, Anita Coyne, and his grandchildren, Haven, Braxton, and Avalyn, as well as several other beloved grandchildren and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be more helpful to the family at this time. We also invite you to bring a special memory or story to share during the service to help us celebrate the life of a man who was so dearly loved.
