Audrey Lynn Erwin

Memorial services for Mrs. Audrey Lynn Osbon Erwin, age 70 of Calhoun, LA will be held by the family at a later time.

Audrey was born January 16, 1956 in Luna, LA to her parents Dewitt Effarge Osbon and Lucille Viola McManus Osbon, and she passed from this life August 6, 2026 in Jackson, MS. following a brief illness.

Audrey was one of ten children her parents had. She knew what family meant to her, and, to her, it meant the world. Audrey loved to talk about her family. She enjoyed sharing memories of caring after her father when he was old and memories of her driving a car with her brothers when she was young. Audrey loved when people would ask her about her grandchildren, and she would always tell everyone that they were like her children to her. If you were privileged enough to be loved by her, then you always knew you would be okay.

Audrey was always well presented: her hair, her nails, her house. She made sure to always be put together, no matter the circumstance. Even if she was going through a tough time, she looked her best doing it. Audrey enjoyed taking pride in herself and in her home. She was proud of her life that she worked so hard to build.

Audrey was a fierce woman; she loved fiercely, she fought fiercely, and she lived fiercely.

Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Dewitt Osbon; sisters, Ruby Nell Bearden, Hazel Ball, and Carrie Lee Osbon Downs, and brothers, Jerold Osbon, Glenn Osbon, and Edward Osbon.

She is survived by her loving husband, Barry Erwin; sister, Imogene Wilson; brothers, Dave Osbon and Wendall Osbon; and a host of extended family and friends.
