Betty Jean Baker Winsby

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Betty Jean Baker, of Downsville, LA. who has passed May 28, 2026 through the heavenly gates to be welcomed with loving arms by her parents, John C Baker Sr. and Burdell Baker, her brother, John C. Baker Jr. and her granddaughters, Chloe Hamilton and Lily Hamilton. She was born November 8, 1959.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Marandell Broullette (king), and Wendy stansel (threlkeld); sons, Bobby Broullette Jr. and James Broullette; granddaughters, Jade King, Jacee Dies; grandson, Sylas Dies, her ex husband, John Winsby, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Friday June 5, 2026 at Heaven Bound Funeral Home, 703 North 4th street in West Monroe. Viewing will be 9am. She will be laid to rest with her parents at Concord Cemetery in Marion LA.

Pallbearers serving are, Bobby Broullette, John Winsby, Drew Threlkeld, CJ Wright, Tex Rowell, and Danny Atkins.

Honorary pallbearer is Sylas Dies.
