Connie Black Hankins

Memorial service celebrating the life of Connie Black Hankins of Monroe, LA. will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 12, 2026, at The Pentecostals of the Twin Cities, West Monroe with Pastor, Jason Ramsey officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.

Connie was born October 23, 1955, and passed from this life September 9, 2026, at the age of 70.

She was a woman of deep faith with a heart for serving others. She was devoted to her church and found great joy in visiting with people, sharing kindness, and making others feel welcome. Connie truly never met a stranger, and her warm and caring spirit touched the lives of so many.

Her faith, love, and servant’s heart will be remembered always, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Mary Black

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Justin Hankins; daughter, Brittany Sanders (Scotty); father of her children and best friend, James Hankins; grandchildren, Kailey Sciara (Carlo), Logan Hankins, Rachel Sanders, Clayton Sanders, Xander Sanders, Joshua Sanders, Jacob Sanders, Jonathan Sanders (Jennifer), James Sanders (Alayna); great-grandchildren, Gabby, Bella, Carson, Memphis, Asher, Hollyn, Adalynn, Molly, and Grace; siblings, Gary Black (Melanie) Marilyn Black, Steve Black (Scarlett), Susan Russell (Kyle), and William Black (Christina); also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
