Funeral service celebrating the life of Felisha Lynn West of Downsville, LA. will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 30, 2026 in the Chapel of Heaven Bound Funeral Home, 703 North 4th. St. West Monroe, LA. 71291. Family will receive friends for visitation 12:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.

Felisha was born February 23, 1984 and passed from this life May 27, 2026 at the age of 42.

Felisha Lynn West, lovingly known as “Fe-Fe” by those closest to her, was born on February 23, 1984 in North Carolina. As a teenager, she moved to Louisiana, where she later graduated from West Monroe High School and built a life surrounded by family and friends who loved her deeply.

Felisha had a vibrant personality and found joy in the little things. The color purple being her favorite, she enjoyed playing rummy, and looked forward to Halloween every year because of her love for scary movies. Her laughter, spirit, and presence brought comfort and memories that will remain with those who knew her forever.

Above all else, Felisha’s greatest love in life was her daughter, Shiann. Becoming a mother on August 4, 2009, was the proudest and most meaningful moment of her life. Her love for her family was evident in the way she cared for and connected with those around her.

Felisha is preceded in death by her grandparents, Glenn and JoAnn West and her parents, Franklin West Sr. and Kathy Burney.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Shiann Roberts; fiancé, Eddie Reynolds; sister, Kayla West; brothers, Franklin West Jr. and Mitchell West; mother, Zelda Jacobs; bonus sons, John and Eddie Jr.; one grandchild; three nieces; four nephews; one great-niece; and two great-nephews; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Though her time here was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
