Frankie LaVerne Lawson of West Monroe, LA. born on October 12, 1939, Frankie grew up to be a woman of substance and kindness. She was the daughter of Marie Stevens and Albert Bridges—two people who helped shape the character she carried with her throughout her eighty-six years of life. On May 22, 2026, Frankie passed from this life, leaving behind a legacy that is defined not by the things she owned, but by the people she loved.
For many of us, we remember Frankie behind the chair. As a beautician, she did so much more than style hair; she listened. She was a confidant, a counselor, and a friend. She had a rare gift—she never met a stranger. Whether you had known her for twenty years or twenty minutes, the moment you sat in her chair, you were family. She made the world a little more beautiful, both inside and out.
She is proceed in death by her mother, Marie Stevens; father, Albert Bridges, and son, Timmy "Bubba" Lawson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her three daughters, Tammy, Debbie Thompson, Donna Hopko; ten grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
