Josiah C. Hayes, III

Memorial service celebrating the life of retired United States Air Force Tech Sergeant, Josiah C. Hayes, III of West Monroe, LA. will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 9, 2026 with military honors in the chapel of Heaven Bound Funeral Home, 703 North 4th St. West Monroe.

Family will receive friends for visitation 12:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.

Josiah was born October 30, 1971, and passed from this life May 1, 2026, at the age of 54.

Josiah enjoyed fishing, singing and enjoyed solving/ working through difficult tasks, Tinkering and fixing things. He always said "If it ever worked, I can make it work again” & it was true. Sometimes he referred to (YouTube University) but he could fit a square peg in a round hole. He loved helping people, & if u knew him he was your friend.

He is preceded in death by; son, Cullen Jody Hayes; grandfather, Josiah C. Hayes; grandmother, Nonie Ruth McCartney Hayes; grandfather, Alfred E Antley; grandmother, Lois Geneva Antley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jennifer Hayes, step-sons, Orrin Angulo and Heyden Nix; mother, Gaynell Susan Antley; father, Josiah C. Hayes Jr.; step-mother, Janice Hayes; sister, Connie Gaynell Elliott; niece, Lauren Foote; nephew, Justin Foote; also survived by many, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
