Judy was born on November 4, 1953, and peacefully passed from this life on July 5, 2026, at the age of 72.

She was a woman of unwavering faith whose love for the Lord guided every aspect of her life. As a faithful member of her church, she found great joy in worship, fellowship, and serving others with a kind and compassionate heart. She treasured the simple blessings of life, especially tending to her beautiful gardens, sewing with loving hands, and baking delicious treats that brought smiles to family and friends.

For many years, Judy faithfully served her community as a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Francis Medical Center. Her gentle spirit, caring nature, and dedication to her patients left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Nursing was more than a profession to Judy—it was a calling, and she ministered to others through her kindness and compassionate care.

Above all, Judy cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. Whether gathered around the table, sharing laughter, celebrating special occasions, or simply enjoying each other's company, those moments were among her greatest treasures. She will be remembered for her warm heart, steadfast faith, generous spirit, and the love she freely gave to everyone blessed to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of faith, love, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Judy is preceded in death by her father, Geanie Melvin Ramsey, Sr.; mother, Aleta Patterson; sister, George Ann Brown; brothers, James Brown, Geanie Ramsey, Jr., Emette Dale McDaniel; daughter, Lennie Walker, and great granddaughter, Kenzlie Ebey.
