Mary "Lou" Davenport

With heavy hearts and loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Mary “Lou” Davenport, of Monroe, Louisiana, who was born on December 9, 1952, and departed this earthly life on October 30, 2026, at the age of 73.

Lou was a gifted artist who possessed a beautiful ability to express herself through her creativity. Through her artistic talents, she could turn ordinary moments into something extraordinary, finding beauty and inspiration in the world around her. Her artwork was more than a reflection of her talent; it was an expression of her heart, imagination, and the unique way she viewed life. The beauty she created will remain a lasting reminder of the special person she was.

Though words can never fully express the sorrow of saying goodbye, we find comfort in knowing that a life is not measured simply by the years we are given, but by the love and beauty we leave behind. Lou's earthly journey has come to an end, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

As family and friends gather to celebrate her life, may they find peace in treasured memories, strength in one another, and comfort in the love that even death cannot take away. Like a beautiful work of art, Lou's life was one of a kind, and the colors of her memory will never fade.

A gathering of family and friends to honor and remember Lou's life will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Heaven Bound Funeral Home, 703 North 4th Street, West Monroe, Louisiana.

The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
