Funeral service celebrating the life of Mary Jane Lewis of Downsville, LA. will be held 2:30 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Farmerville Assembly, 920 S. Main St. Farmerville, LA. with Pastor, Robbie Lawson and Bro. Robert Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Community of Christ Cemetery, Eros, LA. under the direction of Heaven Bound Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends for visitation 1:30 PM until time of service at the church.

Mary was born October 26, 1950, and passed from this life March 26, 2026, at the age of 75.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—bingo, sewing, working puzzles, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed Special Olympics events, bowling, bocce, and cycling. Above all, she cherished her family, who were the center of her world.She is preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Bernice Lewis, Hugh and Eunice Poe, and parents, Haril and Daisy Lewis.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Anthony Genung and Robbie, Tressa Gill and husband, Kevin, Mona Skains and husband, John; sisters, Vickie Gonzales and husband Pancho and Beverly Lawrence and husband, Paul Ray; aunts, Sharon Fowler and Mary Holloway, and uncle, James Poe, also survived by her grandchildren, Crystal, Michael, Searra, Colt, Summer, Tony, Stephanie, Haley, and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Ciera, Logun, Kaylee, Ralley, Isabel, Michael, Bentley, Harley, Madison, Chloe, Tatum, Remedy, River, Maeson, Paisley, Elainea, Joshlyn, Wrenley, and Annakate; Also survived by extended family and friends.

Pallbearers serving are Michael, Colt, Tony, Logun, Bentley, and River.

Honorary pallbearer is River Brown.
