Vera Jean Rohelier

Memorial service celebrating the life of Vera Jean Rohelier of Oak Grove, LA. will be held at a later date under the direction of Heaven Bound Funeral Home.

Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend was born June 23, 1959 and passed away peacefully in her loving home March 5, 2026 at the age of 66.

Jeannie was a source of love and warmth to everyone who knew her. She had a wild spirit ( like a wild horse that couldn’t be tamed) and was known to shoot it straight. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Jeannie aka Bika Bika’s kindness, sass and knowledge touch the lives of many. Her memory will live in our hearts.

She is proceeded in death by her grandma, Vera Dorgan; mother, Dolores Elliott; father Eugene Elliott; son, Blake Townsend, And spouse, Erin R Rohelier

Those left to cherish her memory include her four Children, Lynne Britton, Ben Townsend, Brian Townsend And Erin L Rohelier; two daughter in laws, Cynthia Townsend and Anna Townsend; two Son in laws, David Britton and Tyler Whitehead, and her eight grandchildren, Aden Townsend, Ryder Townsend, Mason Townsend, Allysa Jones, Kyler Rohelier, River Rohelier, Olivia Townsend And Clarissa Townsend; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
