William "Bill" Franklin Nolin

William (Bill) F. Nolin was born on September 21, 1955 in Phoenix, Arizona and passed at home on May 14, 2026 in Oak Grove, Louisiana after his battle with cancer.

A Memorial service will be held May 23, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Grove Church of Christ in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Private burial will be held at a later date.

He was an Army Veteran and served our country from 1972-1976. He retired in 2022 as a construction superintendent. Bill enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes, spending time with family and friends, watching LSU football, baseball, and softball, and watching NFL football. His becoming a follower of Christ was his most important accomplishment and proclaiming his faith by being baptized in February 2025. During his battle with cancer he stated, "I want to do it God's way", he did not fear death but looked forward to his release from this earthly body and entering heaven's gates.

Bill is survived by his wife of 24 years, Carolyn Nolin, daughter Elizabeth (Lizzy) Oler, stepchildren Jeremy Anderson, Sarah Zook, Brenda Westberry, Joe Horton, and Brian Horton,

sisters Margie Netz, Veronica Dunn, Kat Russo, brother Steve McCaslin and sister in law Virginia Nolin, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by parents Robert E. Nolin and Beatrice McCaslin, brothers Robert E. Nolin Jr and Kenneth Nolin, along with sister Blanche Hukill.
